After having read a lot of literature on different kinds of births, my very good friend Grace sent me a brilliant paper she wrote comparing natural births to births involving hospitals and drugs. In this piece she cited a documentary called "The Business of Being Born". We just watched it and I think I've made up my mind. More on this at a later date.
